Rosie Millard

 Rosie Millard is a journalist, broadcaster and author. She writes the main weekly interview in the Sunday Times' News Review. She also writes for the Saturday Times' Body and Soul, where she focuses on health and family issues, and has created the Mr and Mrs Millard column with her husband Pip. Together they have achieved various challenges, such as a Step Class, a singing lesson, and more recently, the 2008 London Marathon which she completed in 3 hrs 51 mins.

She was Arts Correspondent for BBC News for a decade, covering the opening of Tate Modern, art sales, art news and countless red carpet moments. Working on live TV news, bulletins, radio and online, she has reported from the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, the Venice Film Festival and from arts events in Brazil, Pakistan, Poland, France, Italy, Ireland and right across the UK.

She wrote a book about why British art became hip (The tastemakers, Thames & Hudson, 2001) and is a graduate from Hull University, the London College of Communications and the Courtauld Institute.

She is currently travelling across the French overseas territories with her husband and their four 'lively' children. This involves visiting New Caledonia, Reunion and St Pierre & Miquelon, a tiny archipelago in Canada with 6000 inhabitants and 6 cabs. Check out her travels on her blog rosie-millard.co.uk
