Rosie Millard

About Rosie

I’m a journalist and author with a tendency to write on arts and culture. From 1994-2004, I was BBC Arts Correspondent and then spent a few years at the New Statesman as Arts Editor and subsequently Theatre Critic. I was also interviewer on the News Review at the Sunday Times for about four years. Now I vary the mix between comment, interviews and features.  I’m currently writing a monograph on the artist Patrick Hughes, and a book on the middle classes. I’ve written a breathless account of why the British finally fell in love with contemporary art, and an equally excitable one about France.
